Before all the lockdown and epidemic drama, Zimbabweans were waiting patiently for the release of Superstar, Jah Prayzah’s Album. This was a few months after Winky D released his poorly received Njema Album which didn’t get to be a hit considering what Winky D usually does with his previous albums.
Jah Prayzah decided not to do release his Hokoyo album which was scheduled for April this year. This was when most parts of the world was on lockdown and nobody allowed to go out to party.
Prophet Passion Java started doing his internet breaking Gara Mumba Iwe Lockdown shows which got more than 100 000 people combined watching live from the comfort of their homes.
It seems as if the flamboyant Prophet has set a great example for Jah Prayzah showing him how possible it is for him to launch his Album online.
Jah Prayzah wanted to do the online launch but hesitated and cancelled it all together. Recently, he has started teasing for the Album which also looks like he has decided to change the name of the album from Hokoyo to something new.
As usual, we will keep you updated on the goings on…
